The next day had us sight-seeing in Dublin. We bussed it downtown
and saw the major attractions. Trinity, Grafton Street, The Green, GPO,
and so on. The foot and mouth crisis of early 2001 was nearing its end
but restrictions were still in effect when we arrived. You will notice
warning signs throughout this album indicating how widespread the precautions
were.
We ended the day with a tour of Christ Church Catherdral and walking
home past the Guiness Brewery and the famous, St. James' Gate.
